I almost forgot about cake in a mug! I used to make these all the time as a treat or snack because they are A: delicious and B: super easy and quick to make. This vegan mug cake only requires 6 ingredients and 1 minute in the microwave!
- 6 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 4 tbsp organic cane sugar
- 6 tsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 6 tbsp almond milk
- 2 tbsp agave syrup
Combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking powder in your mug of choice. A larger mug is best.
Add in the almond milk, or plant based milk of your choice, and agave syrup. Mix it all together until it is smooth and thick.
Place in the microwave for 1 minute. I usually like mine a little under-baked but if you don't just microwave it a little bit longer.
Once it is done in the microwave add in some chocolate chips for topping. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, if you can wait that long!
